About Auriel
I’m a multidisciplinary designer with a focus in brand identity and narrative advisory, blending storytelling, identity exploration, and human centered design to create impactful experiences. My work lives at the intersection of strategy, soul, and story, helping brands and individuals uncover who they are, what they stand for, and how they express that truth with intention. Guided by design principles, I explore values, patterns, and lived realities, translating them into clear narratives, guiding principles, and brand systems that feel grounded, human, and enduring.
My approach begins upstream, where identity, meaning, and direction are formed. I draw from experience inside complex systems, including corporate, cultural, and community driven environments, to inform strategies that shape how an identity shows up in the world. I’m less interested in performance than alignment. I don’t chase trends or surface level aesthetics; I focus on resonance, cultural context, and long term integrity. Whether shaping a brand narrative, advising on identity evolution, or supporting personal expression, my role is to bring clarity where things feel muddled and help meaning become legible.
I believe strong brands aren’t manufactured. They’re revealed through careful listening, honest interpretation, and thoughtful expression. That’s the work I do.
While my passion lies in brand strategy and narrative advisory, I bring a strong foundation in graphic design, supported by two degrees in the field. My Associate’s degree focused on technical skills, including mastery of design tools, software, and foundational terminology, while my Bachelor’s degree emphasized conceptual design, research, and the broader social, cultural, and political contexts of design. Combined with hands on experience in user experience and user interface design at BP, I translate strategy into tangible, human centered experiences, from digital platforms and marketing assets to interfaces and immersive events, ensuring ideas are conceptually sound, beautifully realized, and experientially engaging.
Glossary of Key Terms
Branding and design come with their own secret language — words that sound fancy, mysterious, or like they belong in a business meeting you weren’t invited to. But you’re more than welcome here, and I’m glad you stopped by!
Accessibility is important to me — not just making sure a website is AAA-compliant, but also using language that anyone can understand. We all come from different walks of life, so whether you’re a fellow designer, a client, or just curious, here’s a mini glossary to help make sense of the terms I use most.

Fun Fact: As a professional Creative and Cutie Patootie, I take any fire selfie or headshot and elevate it by putting myself in a collage. Lol—I love how magical design can be!
