Pentherapy
For Pentherapy, I led a comprehensive brand identity evolution rooted in alignment, intention, and narrative clarity. I redesigned the logo and developed a cohesive visual identity system, establishing a color palette and design language that reflected the brand’s therapeutic, grounded, and expressive ethos.
I shaped the website layout and user experience to support storytelling, accessibility, and intuitive navigation, ensuring the brand’s values translated clearly across digital touchpoints.
In addition to identity and web design, I designed and executed select physical products, shaping form, presentation, and brand coherence.I also planned and executed product photoshoots, producing imagery that captured the brand’s tone, texture, and emotional resonance.

After talking with Ms. Marcia about her purpose, passion, and creative process, I wanted to ensure she remained hands-on with the designs—not just by telling me what she wanted, but by actively working in a program she’s comfortable with. For her products, we agreed to stick with Microsoft PowerPoint. To me as a designer, it’s never about the program—it’s about intent and execution. I still rely on “poor man’s scans,” taking photos with my phone instead of using a scanner (even though I can afford one haha!).
This project, The Fruit of the Spirit, centers on 30 days of prayer, patience, and growth, helping users build a consistent prayer habit. It’s ideal for couples, Bible studies, or prayer groups, tracking spiritual growth week by week, with themes of reigniting and reconnecting with the essence of love. The concept focuses on planting new seeds, tending intentionally, and preparing for a season of harvest—a way to recenter love within any relationship.
This was such a fun project because of the tactile details: embossed, apple-scented journals, pins, and little apple charms. I also enjoyed creating a shadow box to display the various elements included in the collection.

2023 - Current
I was referred to Ms. Marcia through a mutual friend and colleague in 2023. At the time, she was looking for ways to reinvigorate and expand her business, Pentherapy®.
Pentherapy® was founded by Marcia L. Menefield, a visionary designer, events consultant, author, prayer intercessor, and Certified Personal & Executive Coach (CPEC). Born out of a difficult season in her life, the concept began as a journal—a tool for healing and self-expression. From that single idea, Marcia built a business centered on the power of words to help others find comfort, clarity, and stronger relationships through purposeful writing, drawing, or even doodling. Each product, from journals to note cards and gift boxes, is thoughtfully designed to support mindful moments of reflection and discovery.
We began brainstorming ways to honor the original script from her initial logo, created with her granddaughter, reflecting legacy through their intergenerational connection, and conveying fluency and freedom to flow—a sense of enduring movement.

At the top are high-fidelity mockups of the Pentherapy website, and below are the final designs. I was responsible for the wireframes, color scheme, typography, wordmark logo, and product photography. After collaboration between Marcia and her developer, 12:PM Creative®, all these elements came together seamlessly to create a cohesive and engaging website. From time to time, Ms. Marcia asks for brand advisory, help redesigning her cards, or product photography for her website. As much as her brand has grown, I’ve grown tremendously as a designer, incorporating my graphic design, UX/UI, and brand narrative skills to help scale her business—but most importantly, to tell her story so she can continue putting the good she embodies into the world.
I genuinely believe in her brand, not just because I work with it, but because when we first sat down and she shared her intentions, I felt called to help. She’s doing something I deeply admire: building communities with an emphasis on communication, not only with others but with oneself. I respect and am inspired by that. I’m grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of this journey.
